WELCOME

LUDanS (Lancaster University Dance Society) is the largest dance society at Lancaster University! Becoming a member of our society allows you access to our dance classes in a range of styles, our annual show, the opportunity to audition for the competition teams and so much more... We also compete against York in Europe's largest inter-university varsity competition... ROSES! LUDanS provides opportunities to perform at many events, hosts socials and fundraisers including our Annual Danceathon and Winter Ball.

Membership provides:

Admission into all classes held by the society

Classes

A range of styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Street and Stretch and Technique. Timetables will be posted on our members Facebook page before the start of each week.

Annual Show

Our Annual Show is always a LUDanS favourite! Join in with the whole society to perform a range of different dances from show specific dances to performance squad numbers and competition dances.

Performance squad is a fun squad with weekly classes where we learn dances to perform at various events.

So if you love performing without the stress of auditioning and competing then performance squad is for you!
