Charities and Fundraising
Every year the society choose two charities to fundraise for throughout the year. The two charities for this year are Cancer Research UK and Positive Futures. We will have lots of fundraising events throughout the year so keep your eyes peeled!
Cancer Research UK
- Our national charity for this year which provides fundamental research towards finding a cure for cancer.
- Cancer Research UK aims to fund £20 million of research annually, but they can't do it without continued support and donations.

Positive Futures
- 'A mental health and mental illness charity for the people of Lancaster'.
- Our local charity this year is 'Positive Futures', a friendly and helpful team who provide support for people with a range of mental health needs.

Meg Fairley
Fundraising Officer
Meg is our fundraising officer this year! She will be responsible for organising all the fundraising events we hold this year!
